My name is Mely Quiroz (they/he/elle/éI) and I am a transmasculine, queer, mental health provider and trans advocate and educator. I received my M.S. in Multicultural Counseling and Social Justice Education from the Community Based Block program at San Diego State University. My personal experience growing up in a mixed status family and navigating queerness within a religious and traditional family structure, largely shaped my journey home to my authentic self. It is a privilege to provide support to individuals who are seeking to live authentically as themselves.

As your therapist, I work alongside you to support you in achieving the goals you have for your life and well being. We are all meant to live authentically and I hope to support you in caring and loving yourself for who you are in this life. I approach therapy by listening compassionately and validating your lived experiences through the identities you hold. I work collaboratively with you in creating the routines and identifying and accessing the resources that help you thrive. I provide psycho-education to help understand patterns in your life that you would like to change. Together, we can explore ways to shift you into the version of yourself that feels the most aligned and authentic with who you are meant to be.

I am bilingual and provide services in English and/or Spanish. I am neurodiverse-affirming and informed on how gender diverse and neurodiverse experiences co-occur. I am sex-positive, kink-aware, and poly-friendly and can provide referrals or letters needed.
